Marion was born in Inverness, Scotland and was brought up in Pembrokeshire, Wales, but has been fortunate to live in other wonderful parts of the UK including Brae in the Shetland Isles, Polperro in Cornwall and Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. As a baby, she also lived in the Queen's Hotel, Silloth, Cumbria, which is mentioned in her book, The Mask of Innocence.
She now lives with her family in the beautiful Cathederal city of Worcester, close to the river Severn. All these locations have influenced the backdrop to her stories.
After running her own business as a Professional Practitioner of Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming, for 11 years, Marion has always been interested in what makes people ‘tick’, their motivations, how the mind works and fuels their behaviors. She has put this knowledge to good use in her characterisation when writing. She has always been interested in reading, writing, art, psychology and history. When she had to finish work due to ill health, she saw this as an opportunity to revisit the keyboard and start writing again.
She published her second book The Ghost of Hearts-Hope in July 18 and has started writing her third historical novel, All the Shadowed Places which she hopes to publish in 2021.
